We now have a government that wants to build on the green belt, and the Mayor of London has U-turned on his previous position about protecting the green belt.

There was recently a motion tabled by the Conservatives at City Hall to oppose this U-turn and protect our green belt.

Reform UK’s Assembly Member voted with Sadiq Khan’s Labour members to defeat the motion.

The Labour government, supported by Enfield’s Labour Council, is now planning to build a new town.

The New Town proposes 21,000 homes on our Green Belt. We believe our green spaces should be protected, not paved over. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.

Don’t let Reform and Labour team up to build on our Green Belt.
