Labour has lost overall control of Enfield Council following the 2026 local elections on Thursday 7 May.
The Conservatives are now the largest party in Enfield with 31 seats, up by six, but fall just short of the 32 needed for a majority. Labour holds 27 seats, down by 11, while the Green Party has gained five seats.

If we are given the chance to govern our borough, we will deliver on these promises: protecting our precious green spaces while fixing services and tackling waste. Discussions are ongoing as we seek to take control of the council.

Conservative: 31 seats (+6)
Labour: 27 seats (-11)
Green: 5 seats (+5)
