Councillor for Town Ward
I have been a Councillor since 1994, originally elected for the old Willow Ward now Town Ward since 2002, where I have lived almost all my life. I served as Opposition Leader in 2000 and Leader of Enfield Council from 2002 to 2010.

As a Ward Councillor I seek to represent all my electorate and in particular wish to protect the Ward from inappropriate development and keep Town green and clean.

I currently sit on the following committees:-

  • Full Council
  • Shadow Cabinet Member for Adult Social Services and Health
  • Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE)
  • Enfield Hate Crime

London Borough of Enfield   Enfield Race Equality Council (LBE/EREC)

Aside from my Council work, I am a school governor of St. Andrew's Enfield. I also serve as Chairman of the North London Branch of the Historical Association and am a member of the Edmonton Hundred Historical Association.

My interests include most sport, being a member of Middlesex County Cricket Club and a Spurs supporter. When I get the chance I enjoy reading and travel, especially to sites of military significance.

I am a Highlands Ward Councillor and leader of the opposition in the London Borough of Enfield.  I was born at Chase Farm Hospital and educated in local schools. I swam competitively for Griffins Swimming Club. When studying at university I worked as a part time swimming teacher and lifeguard at Enfield leisure centres across the borough.

Councillor for Town Ward
A retired lift engineer manager who has lived in Town Ward for many years. I was first elected to Enfield Council in 2002 for Enfield Highway Ward and since 2014 have represented Town Ward. I have a particular interest in Planning and Licensing and serve on the Four Authorities Committee liaising with other local councils.

Lindsay Rawlings

Newly elected in 2018 I am pleased to represent Town Ward where I live. My main interest is the environment and for me this covers everything from litter, through parks and open spaces, transport to Conservation areas and historic buildings.
