Last May, your three Conservative councillors were elected on a pledge to protect the greenbelt.
In addition to fighting to save our Green Belt, since the election, your 3 local Councillors have been working hard for you. Together we have completed hundreds of pieces of casework, casework, and
attended various residents group meetings and Council meetings.
Over and over again, during the election and since, residents on the door, over the phone and through correspondence have told us they value Enfield’s Green Belt.
Enfield Labour Council is proposing to build on the Green Belt. To achieve this means plans for
intense, high-rise overdevelopment at Crews Hill. These homes won’t be affordable. Your 3 local
Councillors are completely against these proposals.
These plans threaten the very nature of places such as our part of Enfield and will put pressure on
local infrastructure, schools, doctors, utilities etc.
We can only fight these plans effectively if we can tell the Council what you think.
So tell us what worries you most about our local area. Potholes? Flytipping? Overdevelopment?
Take our survey and let us know.
Yours sincerely,
